The St Helens TSA would like to invite all schools to attend: Leading a Mentally Healthy School Two Day Training Programme
Leading a Mentally healthy school training modules have been funded by Health Education England (HEE) and created by the School Development Support Agency (SDSA) in partnership with an expert group of educational psychologists, education consultants and mental health organisations.
The course is aimed specifically at Senior Leaders and focuses on reflection of current provision and strategic planning to help develop a mentally healthy school.
Target audience: Deputy Head and Assistant HTs, SENDCOs and Well being leads.
Leading a Mentally Healthy School aims:
To enable and empower senior leaders to put mental health at the heart of strategic school improvement.
To equip senior leaders with practical and sustainable approaches that can be implemented on return to school.
Module Content: This course is about LEADERSHIP of a mentally healthy school.

Why have a whole school approach to mental health?
The importance of ethos and culture.
To take place on: Monday 21st January 2019, 9.30-3.30 at St Helens TSA POD, St Mary and St Thomas CE Primary School, Barton Close, St Helens, WA10 2HS.

Linda Smith- SLE and Well Being Director will deliver the programme.
The cost of the entire programme is: £50 per delegate. This includes a light lunch and all course materials.
