FREE Core Maths PD in association with NW Maths Hubs

We have two wonderful PD opportunities coming up in the North West for Core Maths (there is no overlap in content so you are very welcome to attend both).

Schools in Priority Areas will now receive £250 per teacher for each day that they attend:

30th November: Xaverian College, Manchester, 10:00-15:30
http://furthermaths.org.uk/files/events/CPD/NW-20181130-CPD-1.pdf

A fantastic opportunity to get hands on with some Core Maths classroom activities and network with local teachers. This event is suitable for teachers of all levels of Core Maths experience, including schools that are not yet running the course.

13th December: Manchester Meeting Place, 10:00-15:30
https://amsp.org.uk/events/one-day-core-maths-regional-conferences

Our regional conference is focusing on planning a sequence of lessons for Core Maths and how to make the most of the pre-release material. Sue Hough will also be presenting a session on how Realistic Maths Education can support the delivery of Core Maths, this will be particularly valuable for supporting Foundation students with the course.

Any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Many thanks
